Texas Constitutional Amendments (Tarrant County ONLY):
Note: This post may be removed in a few days.

Amusing early result: In the Sansom Park Crime Control early vote, one person voted for it, one person voted against it, and one person cast a blank ballot.
What is an eye opener is 127 under votes – that mean 127 people voted for the Street Maintenance Sales and Use Tax but did not vote for the council seat positon!!
Eye opener, indeed. And 100% the fault of the candidates for not distinguishing themselves from each other.
with out the info I get here you could have put them all in a hat a picked one out I never heard anything about any of them.
Heck I wasn’t voting for someone as much as I was voting against Firefighter Pac money.
Sad but true
@Joe Cokel: I must have gotten the Black campaign mailers and robocalls that were meant for you then. I got several of each.
I got all the mailers and all the robocalls, none of which told me anything useful.
@Jim Not every candidate is going to be as outspoken as you or me
@Aubrey Long time no see
@Joe I try to keep people informed, some have called me terrible names for what I do here. But I do have a full time job, have a wife that travels extensively for her job and am in the middle of having to remodel my house after a flood, on top of that I try to spend at least a few minutes of every day answering City related emails and phone calls.
All of that limits my ability to add items here that should be here. It is why I started the “Quick hits” so at least I can touch on an issue if it comes up instead of writing a 1000 word manifesto on it. Traffic counts have been way up the last five weeks, and for some reason I think they will continue to rise for the next month or so. Keep coming back and tell your friends.
Runoff will be Dec 13th so I have set up a Candidate Forum in Council Chambers at City Hall on Nov 29th (tuesday), at 7pm. This will be moderated by the League of Women Voters and sponsored by the Friends of the Keller Library. Show up and get all of your questions answered.
Thanks Paco, for keeping the citizens informed for everyone.
