Tonight’s City Council Meeting

The RV Parking issue that has been floating around the P&Z and City Council for over 4 years finally has made it to the Council for a vote tonight.  The P&Z worked for months to come to the position they forwarded to the City Council and after a first reading of the documents (over 100 pages) I’m very interested to see the staff presentation and to hear from the citizens on their opinion on the issue.  I attended a few of the P&Z Meetings where they discussed this issue and there were always a good number of interested citizens that showed up to speak.  This is one of many controversial issues that is coming in front of the Council this spring.  Remember you can watch the streaming video on the City’s website where you will also be able to follow along with the same packet that we receive from City staff.

The Council will also hear a presentation from the Assistant City Managers of both Keller and Colleyville about the combining of our court facilities.  The amount of savings to the citizens of Keller will be in the neighborhood of $150,000 a year.
