Another busy week here at the Miller House….after eight months of looking for a Piano, we finally found a good Baby Grand on Craigslist for Reagan.  She has displaced Shannon and I out of our home office, so if you are looking for a good antique partners desk, I have a deal for you!

Tomorrow is the SD9 Republican Convention and I will be attending.  I’ve already been nominated to be a delegate for the State Convention in Fort Worth and will then sit back and see what the process is like to get to Tampa.  One day I would like to attend a national convention and check that off my bucket list.

Today is Dan O’Leary’s final day on the job as City Manager. I want to take the opportunity to thank Dan for a great job these last few years and to thank him for always responding to an email or a phone call when I was just a concerned citizen. Good luck in your future endeavors Dan!

On Tuesday night at Big Barn BBQ at 8021 Main in NRH, SD9 Republican Candidate Kelly Hancock will be having a kick off dinner and the special guest will be Republican Governor Rick Perry.  Come on out and support friend of BRF Kelly Hancock!

Ran into Gio a couple of times this week, he is as upbeat as ever.  Working hard knocking on doors all over the district and is really excited about his chances!

Sad news all around this week in music, Dick Clark, Greg Ham from Men at Work and Levon Helm all passed away this week.
